On December 2, 2014, RIAC Program Manager Ekaterina Chimiris and Program Coordinator Anna Kuznetsova made a report “Promotion of Universities in Global Internet” at the Russian-Italian conference “Globalization 2.0: New Approaches to Teaching and Research” held at the Venice International University. The highly responsive participants, among them representatives of Russian universities with RIAC corporate membership and Italian universities, focused on promising cooperation schemes for advancement of universities through the Internet.

Development of university websites is a significant element of marketing educational programs abroad and building a global platform for effective cooperation in education and research areas,” said RIAC Director General Andrey Kortunov

Ambassador Umberto Vattani, President of Venice International University, suggested cooperation on mutual auditing of partnering universities websites.
