On December 10, 2013 A+Standard, Global Science and other educational programs of the Russian International Affairs Council (RIAC) were presented in the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation. Deputy Minister Veniamin Kaganov was informed about the main results of the programs, RIAC plans concerning cooperation with Russian universities in 2014 and suggestions for work coordination with the Ministry.

Deputy Minister Veniamin Kaganov was informed about the main results of the programs, RIAC plans concerning cooperation with Russian universities in 2014 and suggestions for work coordination with the Ministry.
RIAC Director General Andrey Kortunov and RIAC Program Director Ivan Timofeev defined assistance for internationalization of Russian universities, promoting Russian higher education on the international markets, improving the positions of Russian universities in the international ratings and studying the best foreign practices of internationalization as the Council’s priorities.
In 2014 RIAC is planning to work in the mentioned directions within the framework of the educational programs with universities that are corporate members or partners of the Council. This will be done in close cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Science.
Program Director of Educational Area of the “New Eurasia” Foundation Nargisa Valamat-Zade also participated in the meeting. She spoke about the educational projects of the Foundation. Several undertakings of the Foundation can be successfully merged with the RIAC educational programs.
