RIAC Program Director Ivan Timofeyev held workshop “Promotion of Russian Exporters in Foreign Internet: Basics of Content Management” for businesses and government of Tver Region.

Focused on RIAC’s A+Standard program, the workshop was used to familiarize the participants with the fundamentals for the making of the corporate websites to reflect the specifics of the target audience, including consumers, investors, creditors, journalists and other groups.

The event was part of a conference sponsored by the Ministry of Economic Development, Regional Center for Coordination of Support to Export-Oriented Small and Medium Enterprises and European Information and Consulting Center of Tver Region, and also attended by representatives of the Russian Ministry for Economic Development and Foreign Trade Academy.

“In my opinion, such seminars are a must for Russia’s regions. The more ramified out ties with regional exporters and government structures, the closer we approach to real-life issues international issues, and the more effective we become in Moscow. Your interest to RIAC products is a good sign, as the Tver businesses and government seem motivated to advance their interests abroad with use of up-to-date competences and technologies,” said Dr. Timofeyev.

The Tver event was to a great extent made possible by RIAC’s participation in the Academy advance training program last February, when RIAC held its training for regional centers engaged in support of exporting enterprises and the very idea of targeted region-orientated workshops emerged.

RIAC extends its special thanks to Andrey A. Kondratyev, Head of Tver European Information and Consulting Center, for his efforts to ensure superior arrangements.
