On February 5, 2014 within the RIAC Days in Arkhangelsk Region, RIAC Program Director Ivan Timofeev visited the Northern (Arctic) Federal University and met Deputy Region Governor Alexey Andronov and top officials, as well as University Pro-Rector on International Programs Marina Kalinina to outline areas of cooperation with regional authorities on the basis of joint RIAC-NArFU projects.

On February 5, 2014 within the RIAC Days in Arkhangelsk Region, RIAC Program Director Ivan Timofeev visited the Northern (Arctic) Federal University and met Deputy Region Governor Alexey Andronov and top officials, as well as University Pro-Rector on International Programs Marina Kalinina to outline areas of cooperation with regional authorities on the basis of joint RIAC-NArFU projects.

Driven by their plans for international promotion of regional interests through the Internet, the Government showed keen interest in the А+Standard program that can be adapted for these purposes, with relevant efforts underway in the University.

The Government representatives underlined the significance of the RIAC project on migration and consider possible cooperation with business associations in Russia and abroad.

Mr. Andronov was presented with RIAC three-volume collection International Cooperation in the Arctic to be used by the regional government.

Following the meeting outcomes, the sides will prepare proposals for advanced cooperation to be coordinated by the Northern (Arctic) Federal University.
