On April, RIAC’s presentation was held in Siberian Federal University, where Deputy Program Director Timur Makhmutov and Education Coordinator Ekaterina Chimiris told the faculty and students about RIAC activities, primarily in the education field. The attention-grabber was the Global Science program and opportunities for the University experts to take part in the RIAC events.

On April, RIAC’s presentation was held in Siberian Federal University, where Deputy Program Director Timur Makhmutov and Education Coordinator Ekaterina Chimiris told the faculty and students about RIAC activities, primarily in the education field. The attention-grabber was the Global Science program and opportunities for the University experts to take part in the RIAC events.

RIAC representatives also met Vice-Rector on Research and International Cooperation Sergey Verkhovets to discuss cooperation between the two organizations. A RIAC corporate member, the University is active in international contacts with universities and research-and-education centers in Germany, France, Japan and China, and also maintains close links with Kyrgyz Republic and Tajikistan, receiving dozens of their students every year.

In view of the University specifics, the RIAC representatives showed interest to mutual support of projects related to Russian-Japanese and Russian-Chinese relations, as well as international Arctic research with the focus on ecology. The parties agreed to regularly exchange information on these issues.
