On January 27, 2014 RIAC Director General Andrey Kortunov, Chairman of State Duma Committee on Education and Science, Dean of Faculty of Public Administration at Moscow State University Vyacheslav Nikonov, and Rosatom Deputy Director Ambassador Nikolay Spassky (both RIAC members) visited the residence of UK Ambassador to Moscow Timothy Barrow to meet Foreign Office Political Director Simon Grass who came to Moscow for preparations of the G8 summit scheduled for June 2014 in Moscow.

Moderated by Mr. Barrow, the discussion covered various aspects of Russia's presidency in the G8, current and future relations between Russia and the European Union, international security, and Russian-British relations.
