Andrei Zagorski, Head of the Department of Disarmament and Conflict Resolution of the Centre for International Security at Primakov Institute of World Economy and International Relations of RAS, Member of RIAC, Viktor Sumsky, Director of the ASEAN Centre at MGIMO-University, Dmitry Streltsov, Head of the Department of Oriental Studies at MGIMO-University, Evgeny Kanaev, Head of the Asia Pacific Division at the Center for Comprehensive European and International Studies (CCEIS) at National Research University Higher School of Economics, Pavel Gudev, Senior Research Fellow at the Center for North American Studies at Primakov Institute of World Economy and International Relations of RAS, were among Russian participants of the event.
Following the key speech participants discussed territorial disputes in Southeast Asia, maritime delimitation in the Arctic, role of the maritime law in dispute settlement, as well as the U.S. policy and Russia's interests in the Arctic and in the South China Sea.
Anton Tsvetov, expert of the Center for Strategic Research, moderated the discussion.
