RIAC has completed a four-day intensive program at Lobachevsky State University of Nizhniy Novgorod aimed to assist the institution in its internationalization efforts, development of the Internet resources for foreign audiences and improvement of global ratings.
The RIAC Days also included a series of meetings with Nizhny Novgorod Region Exports Development Center, European Information Consultative Center, and the Nizhny Novgorod Region Foreign Relations Department.

5 pm. RIAC Program Director Ivan Timofeev holds a workshop for Exports Development Center and European Information Consultative Center on advancement of local exporters in foreign markets with use of Internet technologies.

11 am. RIAC representatives meet University First Pro-Rector Alexander Grudzinsky and Pro-Rector on International Activities Alexander Bedny to discuss topical issues of university internationalization and potential RIAC cooperation in the area.
11 am. RIAC representatives meet Pro-Rector on Public Relations Nikita Avralyov to discuss promotion of the University’s publications on foreign issues and promotion of Russian academic journals within international citation systems.
3 pm. RIAC Program Director Ivan Timofeev holds a working meeting with Deputy Director of Nizhny Novgorod Foreign Relations Department Denis Chirkov on promising cooperation areas in international expertise and analytics, as well as in education.
5 pm. The University’s Institute of International Relations and World History hosts the presentation of RIAC’s analytical and educational programs. The audience focuses on possible expert-level cooperation with RIAC and its practices for promotion of Russian publications in foreign academic journals.

April 17, 2014
10 am. The Institute of International Relations and World History launches a two-day training for University personnel within RIAC’s A+Standard project for development of the University’s Internet resources to reach foreign audiences. The University is represented by various departments in charge of the English-language website and its content.
12 pm. The A+Standard training covers analysis of the University’s foreign target audiences and their basic requirements, as well as proposals for optimization of the website structure.
2 pm. The training considers various Russian and international website cases and best practices to reach foreign audiences.
6 pm. Training day one completed.

10 am. During А+Standard training day two, the participants prepare proposals for “Nizhny Novgorod University English-Language Website Development Roadmap” to identify key problems, bottlenecks and the logic for immediate and subsequent steps.
4 pm. А+Standard training for Nizhny Novgorod University Completed.
