On November 21–22, 2018, Rome hosted a forum for European and Mediterranean think tanks (Euro-Med Think Tank Forum) organized under the auspices of Italian MFA and Italian Institute for International Political Studies (ISPI) in cooperation with TTCSP.

The Forum was attended by the leaders of more than sixty research organizations from Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa.

Special attention is paid to the shift of alliances, different balance of powers among regional actors, and how think tanks could prevent tomorrow’s ISIS. Furthermore, in order to achieve political stability, it is essential to ensure economic growth and social cohesion in the region.

Russia was represented by Aleksandr Dynkin, RIAC Member, President of the IMEMO, RAS Full Member, and Andrey Kortunov, RIAC Director General.
