On October 15, 2014, RIAC Program Director Ivan Timofeev took part in a meeting of the CSR Committee of the Russian Managers Association attended by representatives of major Russian and foreign companies, universities and NGOs.

On October 15, 2014, RIAC Program Director Ivan Timofeev took part in a meeting of the CSR Committee of the Russian Managers Association attended by representatives of major Russian and foreign companies, universities and NGOs.

The event was opened by Association’s Deputy Executive Director Vadim Kovalyov and Chairman of CSR Committee Igor Sobolev.

Director of PricewaterhouseCoopers CSR Center Yuri Blagov presented “Report on Social Investing in Russia – 2013: toward Creation of Value for Business and Society”, a product of several-years-long work of CSR specialists focused on approaches to CSR activities, target setting, CSR management and trends.

“The CSR area within the spectrum of Russian business is advancing as part of the global trend toward strengthening of its strategic significance for the business and the society as a result of cooperation of these two entities,” said Mr. Blagov.

Dr. Timofeev spoke on CSR achievements of the Russian firms in the Internet and demonstrated the best practices of CSR presentation on foreign websites.
