On March 8–9, 2019, Venice hosted the fifth annual international Conference “Assessing risk: business in global disorder.” organized by Aspen Institute, Italy, and the Royal Institute of International Affairs Chatham House.

On March 8–9, 2019, Venice hosted the fifth annual international Conference “Assessing risk: business in global disorder.” organized by Aspen Institute, Italy, and the Royal Institute of International Affairs Chatham House.

As in previous years, the conference participants included leaders of large European corporations, financial institutions, consulting companies, as well as leading international experts, diplomats, journalists, and government officials from several European countries.

The conference focused on political and economic risks in various regions of the world, including the European Union, the Middle East, East Asia, and Latin America. Andrey Kortunov, RIAC Director General, made a speech at the conference. Efim Ostrovsky, RIAC Member, also took part in the event.
