On December 21, 2020, at 3:00pm, Russian International Affairs Council (RIAC) and School of Asian Studies of the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs at National Research University Higher School of Economics are holding an online seminar «New Regional Dynamics in the Eastern Mediterranean?»

The event will focus on the competitive and inclusive approaches to security in the Eastern Mediterranean, opportunities and limitations for Turkey's foreign policy activization, implications of the new US administration policy regarding the Eastern Mediterranean for the regional dynamics.

On December 21, 2020, at 3:00 pm UTC+3, Russian International Affairs Council (RIAC) and School of Asian Studies of the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs at National Research University Higher School of Economics are holding an online seminar «New Regional Dynamics in the Eastern Mediterranean?».

The event will focus on the competitive and inclusive approaches to security in the Eastern Mediterranean, opportunities and limitations for Turkey's foreign policy activization, implications of the new US administration policy regarding the Eastern Mediterranean for the regional dynamics.

Andrey Kortunov, Director General, Russian International Affairs Council, and Sergey Karaganov, Dean, Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs of the National Research University Higher School of Economics (NRU HSE), RIAC Member, are addressing the participants with welcoming remarks. The seminar is divided in two sessions.

Session I. New Regional Dynamics in the Eastern Mediterranean?
