On July 5 at 2:00 pm (GMT+3) Russian International Affairs Council (RIAC) together with the Egyptian Council for Foreign Affairs (ECFA) will hold a round table on Russia-Egypt cooperation: challenges and prospects. Andrey Kortunov, RIAC Director General, and Ezzat Saad El Sayed, ECFA Director, will make opening remarks. Within the framework of the round table a joint RIAC and ECFA report "Political Risks for Russian-Egyptian Cooperation in North Africa" will be presented.

The first session is devoted to the issues of the current state of Russian-Egyptian relations, economic ties and military-technical cooperation; the positions of the two countries on regional and international challenges, the policies of external actors in the Middle East; the challenges and prospects for Russian-Egyptian relations
