On December 4, 2018, Russian International Affairs Council together with the German Council on Foreign Relations (DGAP) held a round table “Dialogue among Russia, the EU, China, and Central Asia on the Cohesion of Eurasia”.

On December 4, 2018, Russian International Affairs Council together with the German Council on Foreign Relations (DGAP) held a round table “Dialogue among Russia, the EU, China, and Central Asia on the Cohesion of Eurasia”.

The participants of the meeting discussed the following issues: transport and infrastructure, trade and finance in the Eurasian space, as well as security risks. The discussion was attended by experts from Russia, the EU, China, and Central Asia.

Ivan Timofeev, RIAC Director of Programs, moderated a session on security aspects in Eurasia. The Russian side was represented by RIAC experts, representatives of leading academic institutions, analytical centers and foundations, such as MGIMO MFA of Russia, IMEMO RAS, Carnegie Moscow Center, CSR, HSE, and other.
