On February 6, 2020, Copenhagen hosted an expert round table and a conference focusing on Russia and Denmark: issues of cooperation in the Arctic and the Baltic Sea region. The events were organized by Danish Foreign Policy Society in partnership with RIAC.

On February 6, 2020, Copenhagen hosted an expert round table and a conference focusing on Russia and Denmark: issues of cooperation in the Arctic and the Baltic Sea region. The events were organized by Danish Foreign Policy Society in partnership with RIAC.

As part of the round table, the Danish Foreign Policy Society and RIAC joint report was discussed. Natalya Vyakhireva, RIAC Program Manager, and Roman Mayka, RIAC Media and Government Relations Manager, co-authored the report. As part of the expert round table, the authors presented key findings on cooperation in the Arctic and the Baltic Sea region. The round table was also addressed by Vygaudas Usackas, former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania; Soren Liborius, Advisor to European External Action Service; Per Carlsen, Senior Advisor to Danish Foreign Policy Society; Rasmus Bertelsen, Professor at the University of Tromsø; Mette Skak, Professor at Aarhus University, etc.

The conference was attended by a wide range of experts, journalists, and diplomats. Reports were made by Andrey Kortunov, RIAC Director General, as well as Andrey Zagorsky, Professor at MGIMO, RIAC Member; Alexey Gromyko, Director of RAS Institute of Europe, RIAC Member; and Thomas Winkler, Arctic Ambassador of the Kingdom of Denmark.
