On October 7, 2022, the Italian Embassy in Moscow hosted a discussion on possible shifts in the system of world politics after the completion of the acute phase of Russia's special military operation on the territory of Ukraine. Questions of further functioning of international organizations, probable changes in the norms of international law, the dynamics of the global balance of power and other issues were also touched upon. The discussion was attended by Andrey Kortunov, RIAC Director General; as well as Norbert Konkoy, Hungarian Ambassador to Russia; Rodrigo de Lima Baena Soares, Brazilian Ambassador; and Nazih El-Nagari, Egyptian Ambassador. The meeting was chaired by Giorgio Starace, Italian Ambassador to Russia.
