On April 14, 2016 France’s Ambassador in Russia Jean-Maurice Ripert held a meeting at the French Embassy with RIAC Director General Andrey Kortunov and leading Russian international journalists Andrey Soldatov and Pavel Felgenhauer. The discussion focused on the relations between Russia and NATO in the context of the upcoming NATO Warsaw Summit in July 2016, the prospects for recovery of the NATO-Russia Council activity to the full extent, the probable immediate priorities of the Council.

The discussion focused on the relations between Russia and NATO in the context of the upcoming NATO Warsaw Summit in July 2016, the prospects for recovery of the NATO-Russia Council activity to the full extent, the probable immediate priorities of the Council, the future of the military-strategic stability in Europe and the ways to decrease the risks of conflict on the European continent.

The meeting was attended by officials of the French Embassy in Russia, who took part in the discussion too.
