On November 22, 2019, RIAC held a working meeting with Murad Uzakov, Manzura Khusnidinova, staff of Information Analytical Center for International Relations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, and Shakhriyor Khayriev, Third Secretary of the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the Russian Federation.

On November 22, 2019, RIAC held a working meeting with Murad Uzakov, Manzura Khusnidinova, staff of Information Analytical Center for International Relations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, and Shakhriyor Khayriev, Third Secretary of the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the Russian Federation.

The discussion focused on the issues of bilateral cooperation and international relations in Central Asia region. Particular attention was paid to security issues in the region and cooperation with the Russian Federation in this area. The participants discussed the current situation in Afghanistan and assessed the process of Afghan peace settlement, as well as analyzed in detail the influence of the Afghan factor on building relations on Central Asia vector.

RIAC was represented at the event by Elena Kuzmina, RIAC Expert, Yekaterina Chimiris and Ksenia Kuzmina, Program Managers, Ruslan Mamedov, Program Coordinator, and Milan Lazovich, Program Assistant.
