On March 5 a discussion was held at RIAC on the Council’s prospects of cooperation with the World Bank and the World Bank Institute. The participants of the discussion were Tatiana Leonova, regional coordinator for countries of Europe and Central Asia of the World Bank Institute and Julia Komagaeva, coordinator of the Russian office of the World Bank on G20/G8 issues .

On March 5 a discussion was held at RIAC on the Council’s prospects of cooperation with the World Bank and the World Bank Institute. The participants of the discussion were Tatiana Leonova, regional coordinator for countries of Europe and Central Asia of the World Bank Institute and Julia Komagaeva, coordinator of the Russian office of the World Bank on G20/G8 issues.

The RIAC was represented by Andrei Kortunov, RIAC general director, (hyperlink) and Ekaterina Chimiris, program manager (hyperlink).

Discussions covered working plans of the two organizations on global management, development of educational projects, current Russian presidency of G20 and other issues. Representatives of RIAC and World Bank have agreed to cooperate in the implementation of several projects, including joint organization and holding of an international conference on security and development in Moscow in early April of 2013.
