On September 27, 2018, professors and post-graduates of Seoul National University and the Hankuk University of Foreign Studies visited RIAC.

The guests from the Republic of Korea discussed the current state of security issues on the Korean Peninsula, the prospects for bilateral relations between North Korea and the United States, the role of Russia and China in solving the DPRK nuclear problem and in implementing large-scale economic projects on the Korean Peninsula. Various aspects of bilateral relations between Russia and South Korea and the possibility for expanding cooperation between independent think tanks of the two countries were also touched upon.
