On December 16, 2019, at the Embassy of Finland to Russia, Andrey Kortunov, RIAC Director General, met with Jukka Siukosaari, Head of Cabinet and Secretary General, Office of the President of the Republic of Finland, visiting Moscow; Petri Hakkarainen, Foreign Policy Adviser and Member of the Cabinet of the President of the Republic of Finland; and Mikko Hautala, Ambassador of Finland to Russia.

On December 16, 2019, at the Embassy of Finland to Russia, Andrey Kortunov, RIAC Director General, met with Jukka Siukosaari, Head of Cabinet and Secretary General, Office of the President of the Republic of Finland, visiting Moscow; Petri Hakkarainen, Foreign Policy Adviser and Member of the Cabinet of the President of the Republic of Finland; and Mikko Hautala, Ambassador of Finland to Russia. The discussion focused on the results of Finland’s Presidency of the European Union, ending on December 31, 2019, possible directions for the development of relations between Russia and the EU in the near future, as well as security issues in the Baltic and Arctic regions. Finnish diplomats were informed about RIAC work plans on the European vector.
