On September 4, 2020, Andrey Kortunov, RIAC Director General, had a meeting with Rune Resaland, Norwegian Ambassador to Russia, and Eirik Bergene, Embassy Counselor.
The following issues were discussed during the meeting: possible scenarios for the development of events in Belarus and their impact on the future of relations between Russia and the West, primarily in the Baltic region. In addition, the discussion touched upon various aspects of the impact of the coronavirus pandemic and the global recession on the system of international relations and on the role of Russia in this system.
