On March 15, 2018, Kansai Association of Corporate Executives delegation from Japan (Kansai Association of Corporate Executives) visited Russian International Affairs Council.

On March 15, 2018, Kansai Association of Corporate Executives delegation from Japan (Kansai Association of Corporate Executives) visited Russian International Affairs Council.

The delegation consisted of senior managers from the leading Japanese financial, industrial, logistics, and consulting companies, and Japanese experts on regional and global security issues.

The following issues were discussed during the meeting: topical aspects of Russian-Japanese relations, the prospects for resolving the security crisis on the Korean peninsula, the dynamics of the military-political situation in the Asia-Pacific region, as well as the new global threats to international stability.

Japanese visitors got an overview of RIAC projects on Asia-Pacific regional issues and Russia-Japan relations, including the preparation for the bilateral Russia-Japan conference, scheduled for the second half of 2018.
