On April 30, 2019, a group of representatives from Georgetown University in Qatar, headed by Professor Mehran Kamrava, Director of the Center for International and Regional Studies, visited Russian International Affairs Council.

On April 30, 2019, a group of representatives from Georgetown University in Qatar, headed by Professor Mehran Kamrava, Director of the Center for International and Regional Studies, visited Russian International Affairs Council.

RIAC guests got to know about the ongoing and finalized projects of the Council related to the Gulf region and the Middle East as a whole. Various aspects of Russia's policy in the Middle East were also discussed, including the Syrian settlement, the crisis in Yemen, the consequences of the US withdrawal from the Joint Comprehensive Action Plan on Iran's nuclear program.
