On October 9, 2019, Tomislav Car, Ambassador of Croatia to Russia, visited Russian International Affairs Council.  The discussion focused on the upcoming Croatian presidency of the European Union in the first half of 2020 and plans for holding a conference organized jointly by RIAC and the embassy of the presiding country in 2020 with the participation of the EU Delegation to Russia.

The participants also touched upon the issues of current relations between Russia and the European Union and prospects for progress in resolving the situation in eastern Ukraine.
