On May 7, 2019, Andrey Kortunov, RIAC Director General, RIAC Member; Dmitri Trenin, Director of the Carnegie Moscow Center, RIAC Member; and Yevgeny Gontmakher, RIAC Expert, Member of the Committee of Civic Initiatives; had a meeting with Philip Barton, Director General, Consular and Security at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, at the residence of the British Ambassador to Russia.

On May 7, 2019, Andrey Kortunov, RIAC Director General, RIAC Member; Dmitri Trenin, Director of the Carnegie Moscow Center, RIAC Member; and Yevgeny Gontmakher, RIAC Expert, Member of the Committee of Civic Initiatives; had a meeting with Philip Barton, Director General, Consular and Security at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, at the residence of the British Ambassador to Russia.

The issues discussed in the course of the meeting included possible areas of Russian-British cooperation, primarily in the area of security, as well as current trends in Russia's socio-economic and political development. The meeting was moderated by Laurie Bristow, British Ambassador to Russia.
