The relations between Russia and ASEAN also base on strong trade and economic ties, both in the format of bilateral interaction and in the framework of ASEAN and EAEU cooperation. According to the Minister, social and cultural ties still remain significant component of Russia – ASEAN interaction.

The lecture was followed by Q&A session. Alexander Kramarenko, RIAC Director for Development, moderated the discussion.
