On January 19, 2021, International Crisis Group (ICG) held an expert discussion on the current socio-economic situation within the political crisis in Venezuela and the prospects for national reconciliation in the country.

The discussion focused on the possible role of the international community in stimulating dialogue between the government and opposition forces of Venezuela. Juan Manuel Santos, Former President of Colombia, was the keynote speaker. The event was attended by Andrey Kortunov, RIAC Director General.
