On April 20, 2022, Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) in Washington, DC, hosted an online high-level expert discussion on the possible consequences of Russian-Ukrainian conflict for international monetary and financial, trade and investment organizations and systems.

The speakers included: Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, former Liberian President; Lord Charles Powell, former Senior Advisor on foreign affairs and defense to the British Prime Minister; Joel Bell, leading Canadian financier and investor; and Andrey Kortunov, RIAC Director General. The meeting was moderated by John J. Hamre, CSIS President.
