On February 26, 2016 President of the Russian International Affairs Council Igor Ivanov addressed the 387th session of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, the upper chamber of the Russian parliament. In his speech, the head of RIAC expanded on a wide range of issues of Russian foreign policy, including the Ukrainian and Syrian crises, Russia’s relations with the European Union, the United States and China, as well as the issues of training international affairs specialists and of raising the efficiency of expert support for Russia’s foreign policy activities.
