On March 29–30, 2022, Manohar Parrikar Institute for Defense Studies and Analyses, India, held an online fifth annual international conference on security issues in Western Asia and the role of India in this region. The conference was attended by leading international experts, diplomats and public figures from India, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, the UAE, Israel, Turkey, Jordan, Iran, Great Britain, and Russia.
