On April 29, 2019, RIAC hosted a closed expert seminar "Opportunities for Conflict Resolution in Eastern Ukraine" with the participation of Martin Sajdik, Special Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office in Ukraine and in the Trilateral Contact Group.

On April 29, 2019, RIAC hosted a closed expert seminar "Opportunities for Conflict Resolution in Eastern Ukraine" with the participation of Martin Sajdik, Special Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office in Ukraine and in the Trilateral Contact Group.

During the seminar, Mr. Sajdik and leading Russian experts on Ukraine discussed the possibilities of overcoming the crisis, options for resolving the conflict, and the role of UN and OSCE peacekeeping missions in these issues.

The event was attended by Timur Makhmutov, RIAC Deputy Director of Programs, Ekaterina Chimiris, RIAC Program Manager, and Olga Pylova, RIAC Program Assistant.

Based on the seminar results, the participants expressed their intention to continue the expert dialog contributing to a better understanding of the situation and the earliest possible resolution of the armed conflict.
