On April 11-12, 2018, Vienna hosted an International Advisory Board meeting of the Friedrich Ebert Foundation Regional Office for Cooperation and Peace in Europe (ROCPE).

The meeting focused on the future of European security architecture in the context of sharply aggravated relations between Russia and the West, as well as the general decline in stability in world politics. The participants discussed various models of European security and the role of certain European institutions in strengthening the security. Thomas Greminger, OSCE Secretary General, made a speech at the meeting. Andrey Kortunov, RIAC Director General, represented Russia at the International Advisory Board Meeting.
