In the course of discussion special attention was paid to the military political situation in Idlib Governorate and in northeastern Syria, as well as the threats of escalation of hostilities. The participants compared Russian, Turkish and American views on the sources of tension, as well as on the possibilities and limitations to multilateral cooperation in stabilizing the situation in Idlib and the northeast.

The session was organized by the Swiss Centre for Humanitarian Dialogue.
