Andrey Kortunov outlined possible scenarios of new global crises in politics and economics, as well as steps to protect Russia's interests in terms of minimizing damage to our country.

The expert drew attention to the specifics of the struggle for technological leadership between the United States and China, major armed conflicts in the Middle East, the weakening of the democratic institutions of the European Union.

In this regard, the scientist considers it particularly necessary to systematically deepen the strategic dialogue with China, to develop relations in the BRICS format, promoting concrete agreements with the countries of this group.

“The Federation Council is actively engaged in international activities that help to solve a number of topical issues on the global agenda,” said Andrey Kortunov.
