On February 26, 2018, Copenhagen hosted an international conference «The New Cold War between Europe and Russia» under the auspices of the Danish People's Party (Dansk Folkeparti).

On February 26, 2018, Copenhagen hosted an international conference «The New Cold War between Europe and Russia» under the auspices of the Danish People's Party (Dansk Folkeparti).

Around 150 politicians, diplomats, parliamentarians, journalists, and public officials from Europe, including Claus Hjort Frederiksen, Danish Minister for Defense, and Uffe Ellemann, former Minister for Foreign Affairs of Denmark, took part in the event.

Russia was represented by Andrey Kortunov, RIAC Director General, who made a report at the conference. Marie Krarup, a famous Danish politician and a publicist, moderated the conference.
