On December 10-11, 2014, RIAC Director General Andrey Kortunov visited Beijing to take part in an international roundtable on regional and global security sponsored by the China Foundation for International and Strategic Studies and attended by key foreign policy experts, former diplomats and statesmen from China, Australia, India, Singapore, the United States, South Korea and Japan.

On December 10-11, 2014, RIAC Director General Andrey Kortunov visited Beijing to take part in an international roundtable on regional and global security sponsored by the China Foundation for International and Strategic Studies and attended by key foreign policy experts, former diplomats and statesmen from China, Australia, India, Singapore, the United States, South Korea and Japan.

The participants discussed modern trends in development of international relations, security in Northeast and Southeast Asia and Europe, new Chinese concept for new type of relations between major powers, the changing parameters of international influence, and mutual impact of geo-economics and geopolitics in the 21st century. Dr. Kortunov made a report on short and long-term aftereffects of the Ukraine crisis for the system of international relations.
