American Councils for International Education is one of the leading American non-profit educational training and counseling organizations specializing on working with the countries of East Europe and Eurasia. ACTR/ACCELS programs include academic exchange programs, professional training, inter-institute cooperation and research, technical assistance and advice, and educational testing.

American visitors got to know about RIAC work on development of international cooperation in higher education, about major areas for cooperation between the Council and Russian universities — RIAC corporate members, and about the system of internships for foreign PhD students and postdoctoral fellows in RIAC.
