Ivan Timofeev made a report on "Representation of corporate social responsibility in the Internet resources of the company", which is the result of expert work undertaken by the Russian International Affairs Council in cooperation with the Russian Managers Association. The Council has analyzed applications in the special category of the People Investor contest "The best representation of corporate social responsibility in the Internet resources of the company". The expert analysis was done using the A+Standard methodology devised in RIAC.

"We live in a unique historical period. In our society there are three generations living together at the same time. Each of them has its own culture of communication. Some still prefer a pen and a piece of paper. Others - the ones who grew up at the dawn of the Internet - use email. For the third group even email is becoming an anachronism - they prefer communicating in social networks. The number of those who belong to the third group is rapidly growing. It means that business today should use new Internet possibilities to its fullest while working with target audiences. It goes both for commercial activities and social projects".

This idea became the starting point of RIAC Program Director Ivan Timofeev’s address at the People Investor 2013 Forum, which is held annually by the Russian managers association. It has become one of the largest and most influential platforms where heads of Russian companies discuss the issues of investing in human capital and sustainable development. Russian International Affairs Council became the expert partner of the Forum in 2013.

"The Internet provides numerous possibilities for increasing effectiveness of the company's investments into sustainable development programs. However, very few of these possibilities are used in the work with target audiences. As a result, investments in this sphere are not as high-yielding as they could actually be", - Ivan Timofeev noted in his report. He also analyzed the key problems concerning the representation of corporate social responsibility on companies' websites and gave recommendations on improving its effectiveness on the basis of a number of case-studies.

At the closing ceremony of the Forum Ivan Timofeev awarded with a prize the "Heineken-Russia" brewing company, the winner in the special category "The best representation of corporate social responsibility in the Internet resource of the company".

Prizes to the winners in other categories of the People Investor contest were awarded by famous Russian businessmen and top-managers: Mikhail Khabarov (A1 Investment Company), Olga Pleshakova ("Transaero" airline company), Irina Kibina (Russian Managers Association), Nadya Zheksembaeva (IEDC), Igor Sobolev (URALSIB Bank), Olga Filatova (MegaFon company), Maria Zakharova ("Novard" group of companies), Aleksey Kasparzhak (Managers association).

The winner in the last category received the prize from the hands of the President of the Russian Managers Association Dmitry Zelenin.

Partnership between the Russian International Affairs Council and the Russian managers association began in July 2013. The meeting between Igor Ivanov, RIAC President and Dmitry Zelenin, Russian Managers Association President marked the start of cooperation. The expert partnership during the Forum and the People Investor contest has become a key element of collaboration this year.

The Forum was also attended by RIAC Deputy Program Director Timur Makhmutov, Program Manager Ekaterina Chimiris and Program Coordinator Anna Kuznetsova.

RIAC expresses its gratitude to the Vice-President of the Russian Managers Association Aleksey Kasparzhak, Head of the corporate communications and marketing department Yuri Praslov, Deputy Executive Director Ivan Potemkin, manager of strategic research and communications department Eugenia Vorontsova and other members of the Association who invested their efforts in organizing the People Investor Forum at the highest organizational and substantive level.
