The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia underscored the fruitful cooperation with RIAC: “Today the role of qualitative analytical support for Russian foreign policy is tangibly increasing. I am pleased to note that the Russian International Affairs Council (RIAC), which has established itself as an effective instrument on the second track of Russian diplomacy, is making a large contribution to the resolution of this task.”
Igor Ivanov, RIAC President, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation (1998–2004), summed up the work of the Council in 2018 and presented the main areas of RIAC work for the following year.
In the course of further discussion the participants made a number of proposals for the development of RIAC project work in 2019.
The Decision of the General Meeting approved the list of RIAC Presidium members.
