Brian Frydenborg's Column and Blog
The nexus of diplomacy, international development, security, policy, politics, and history Brian Frydenborg is from a small Connecticut suburb of the New York City metropolitan area. He has spent most of the last fifteen years studying and/or practicing politics, history, public policy, foreign policy, humanitarian aid, international development, and peace operations. His study abroad experiences include a semester in Japan as an undergraduate, and in his graduate Master of Science in Peace Operations program he studied abroad in Liberia to analyze the United Nations Mission in Liberia (the active peacekeeping operation there) and also studied abroad in Israel and the West Bank, analyzing the conflict there. His work experience includes volunteering on political campaigns and political internships (including interning in then-Sen. Joe Biden's office in 2006), writing articles for various websites, and most recently many writing and consulting projects as a freelancer based in Amman, Jordan.
