Casing Point
Igor Ossipov
Casing Point: а term that designates a time when a decision must be finally made whether casing (drilling/start of production) is to be run and set or the well abandoned and plugged. In essence it is the final and most crucial stage of evaluating the potential of a particular oil/gas site.
