Project: Russia and France: a New Agenda
The project aims at developing proposals that could help Russia and France in formulating a new agenda for their bilateral relations. The results could be taken into account by the governments, business and expert communities of both countries.
The project will focus on specific measures that could be taken to promote partnership in political, economic and military spheres as well as in the area of culture, science and education.

On February 5, 2019, Russian International Affairs Council held a seminar “Challenges and Opportunities in Relations between Russia and France”. The special speaker was the French Foreign Minister (1997–2002) Hubert Védrine. The meeting discussed issues such as risks to relations between Russia and the EU, prospects for Russia-France relations, the future of the EU, and Russia-EU relations.
On November 30, 2018, RIAC delegation visiting Paris had a meeting with the Alexey Meshkov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia, RIAC Member, at the Embassy of the Russian Federation in France.
On November 19, 2018, I.S. Turgenev Library in Moscow hosted the presentation of the sixth annual report «Russia-2018» prepared by Observo, French-Russian Analytical Center.
