On July 5­–6, 2018, Russian International Affairs Council (RIAC) and the Delegation of the European Union to Russia held a meeting to discuss the text of the joint report prepared by the Russian and EU experts on the results of the project on creation of EU-Russia Experts Network.

On July 5­–6, 2018, Russian International Affairs Council (RIAC) and the Delegation of the European Union to Russia held a meeting to discuss the text of the joint report prepared by the Russian and EU experts on the results of the project on creation of EU-Russia Experts Network.

Andrey Kelin, Director of the Department of European Cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, and Markus Ederer, Ambassador of the European Union to the Russian Federation, provided external assessment of the report.

The report is to be published in autumn 2018.

In 2016–2018, within the framework of the joint project, Russian International Affairs Council (RIAC) and the Delegation of the European Union to Russia conducted a series of seminars on Russian-EU relations and created a Russia-EU expert network, that includes leading experts in the area of Russia-EU relations from Russia and the EU. Each seminar was devoted to a specific topic (European security issues, Eastern Partnership issues, prospects for Russia-EU-US relations, prospects for Russia-EU-China relations, migration issues in the EU and Russia, etc.).
