On June 7, 2016, the Embassy of Poland in Moscow became the venue for an opinions exchange between pundits from RIAC and Polish Center for Eastern Studies. RIAC was represented by its Director General Andrey Kortunov, Academician Vladimir Baranovsky, Director of RAS Center for Situational Analysis and member of the IMEMO Board; Academician Sergey Rogov, Academic Adviser of RAS Institute for US and Canadian Studies; and Ambassador Vyacheslav Trubnikov, Army General.

Moderated by Poland’s Ambassador in Russia Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz, the debaters, among them Polish diplomats, focused on the forthcoming NATO summit in Warsaw and its impact on relations between Russia and the West, ways to bolster European security, the Middle East, and future relations between Russia and Poland.
