On November 11, 2018, Russian International Affairs Council (RIAC) held a seminar «State and Prospects of Russia-the EU Relations» together with European Council on Foreign Relations (ECFR).

On November 11, 2018, Russian International Affairs Council (RIAC) held a seminar «State and Prospects of Russia-the EU Relations» together with European Council on Foreign Relations (ECFR).

The following issues were discussed at the seminar: prospects for Russia-the EU relations; ways to resolve the crisis in Ukraine; idea of EU autonomy; prospects for Russia-the EU-the U.S. relations. The seminar was attended by experts from analytical centers of the EU countries, representatives of foreign ministries of EU countries, Russian experts on Russia-the EU relations, RIAC members.

Timur Makhmutov, RIAC Deputy Director of Programs, made a speech at the opening of the seminar. Natalia Vyakhireva, RIAC Program Manager, moderated a workshop discussion.
