On August 26, 2016, in Canberra, Director of the Coral Bell School of Asia Pacific Affairs at the Australian National University Michael Wesley and Director of the Russian International Affairs Council Andrey Kortunov signed a Memorandum of Understanding. The parties discussed potential priorities in view of cooperation between the two organizations including international food security and comparative analysis of the R2T concept interpretations. The bilateral agreement was based on the outcomes of the University professors' visit to Moscow last June with support of the Russian Embassy in Canberra.
