On October 19 Hans Blix, Swedish diplomat and politician, Swedish Minister for Foreign Affairs (1978-1979), Head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA, 1981-1997), Head of the United Nations monitoring, verification and inspection commission (UNMOVIC), inspecting Iraq weapons (2000-2003), visited Russian International Affairs Council.

On October 19 Hans Blix, Swedish diplomat and politician, Swedish Minister for Foreign Affairs (1978-1979), Head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA, 1981-1997), Head of the United Nations monitoring, verification and inspection commission (UNMOVIC), inspecting Iraq weapons (2000-2003), visited Russian International Affairs Council.

During the visit Hans Blix got to know about RIAC projects on international security and weapon inspection, discussed North Korea crisis management issues and preventing the erosion of the agreement on the Iranian nuclear dossier as of July 15, 2015.

Some issues regarding the probable UN peacekeeping operation in the Eastern Ukraine were also touched upon.
