On June 19–20 Berlin hosted a meeting for EU–Russia Strategy Group, the European Council on Foreign Relations.

European and Russian experts, as well as the representatives of German Ministry of Foreign Affairs, were discussing EU-Russia cooperation issues in terms of Ukrainian crisis, in the Middle East, and in the Balkans, the prospects for Russia-the U.S. relations development, and their possible impact on Europe.

Aleksandr Aksenenok, RIAC member, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation, Andrey Kortunov, RIAC Director General, and Fyodor Lukyanov, RIAC member, editor-in-chief of the journal «Russia in Global Affairs», took part in the event.
