Prestigious Peace Award Bestowed on Ratnesh Dwivedi from India

Ratnesh Dwivedi,a Media Academician who has been working on Terrorism,War,Conflict and Peace Resolution has been bestowed with prestigious Peace Award 2018 on given by Center for Peace Studies,Colombo,Sri Lanka on September 2018. Centre for Peace Studies has been at the forefront of developing new ideas about Conflict Resolution, Mediation, Peace keeping, Human Security and Peacebuilding. It has developed an international reputation for the practical application of these ideas in war zones and communities driven by conflicts, most notably in and outside Sri Lanka. This has involved working with warring parties, Government agencies, NGOs, regional and international organizations, together with the civilian communities caught up in these conflicts. The awardees are selected on the basis of their work in Peace Building,Terrorism and Conflict Resolution. Ratnesh Dwivedi whose Ph.D. is dealing with 9/11 ( World Trade Center Attack) and 26/11 ( Mumbai-India Terror Attacks) has been working in this area for past twenty years.He has also worked with 501© 3 organization Transitional Assistance Inc who takes care of soldiers and their families who have spent their life time in War Zone. He also represent a Security,Intelligence and Defense organization SECINDEF based out of Israel and USA. In his Ph.D. which he has submitted at India's largest private University-Amity University,Noida he has discussed causes,types,circumstances,de-radicalization,conflict resolution and bringing normalcy in War and Terrorism hit areas. He was selected as one of 30 awardees from across the globe who have received this honor in grand ceremony witnessed by representatives of various Governments and organizations apart from awarded and has been honored with a Memento,A Shawl,A Sapling, a Medal and a Certificate by Ex Sri Lankan President Mahendra Rajpakshe.. Ratnesh Dwivedi is currently serving as Full Time Associate Professor of Journalism at School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Institute of Management Studies,Noida.
